About Us
Collecting, researching, and openly sharing Chinese ancient art.
Ecollection is jointly directed by Baoyan Shanfang and Xiaochen Zan. Since 2015, we have participated in the international market for Chinese art, with a continuing focus on early art, bronzes, and the material culture of ancient China.
Our work includes auctions, exhibitions, research, object documentation, and open academic resources. Through collection pages and object imagery, we share ways of approaching Chinese ancient art.
We aim to connect objects, inscriptions, images, and the historical worlds they carry through long-term, careful collecting and research.
